Meet Our Founder, Greg Sellers

Greg Sellers is truly passionate about solar power. In addition to spending more than 12 years in the residential PV market, Greg has also been a speaker and subject expert for the:

Department of Energy (DoE)

Solar Power International (SPI)

Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)

In addition, he has consulted for some of the biggest names in the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry.

Through these various experiences, Greg was able to witness solar’s explosive growth firsthand. He believes strongly in the technology’s ability to help homeowners and businesses nationwide save money and reduce their carbon footprint.

But Greg soon began to see some of the limitations of solar power as well.

Solar PV is one of the most resilient energy generation technologies in the world. However, it’s not 100% foolproof – with many installations requiring servicing, maintenance, or repairs well before reaching the end of their warrantied lifetimes.

Going solar can help homeowners and businesses save money. But those savings aren’t necessarily guaranteed over time. Problems can and do arise. And fixing these issues often requires paying out-of-pocket expenses and navigating a confusing sea of paperwork and insurance claims.

To help address this growing problem, Greg launched Stable Solar – a full-scale monitoring, maintenance and repair company dedicated to helping:

Meet Our Team

Josh Haney

Vice President Technical Services

Josh Haney is a second-generation solar professional who started his solar career working for and eventually leading his family’s residential solar installation and service company. Josh has been in the solar industry for nearly three decades during which he has serviced, managed, and monitored thousands of solar systems of varying sizes across the United States. Josh holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration; is a Certified PV Installation Professional through NABCEP, the industry’s leading certification organization; is a California-licensed solar contractor; a Journeyman Electrician; and has multiple additional industry and manufacturer-specific certifications. Certifications include safety compliance and the installation and repair of inverters, modules, racking, batteries and monitoring systems. Josh provides technical oversight and expertise to Stable Solar’s technicians and service processes.

Nichole Martinez

Customer & Service Coordinator

Nichole Martinez oversees all Service Coordination and Customer Communication at Stable Solar. Her 10+ years of experience in the solar industry supports all departments including operations and maintenance, sales, marketing and quality control. While she is an experienced Customer Relationship Management and Application Administrator, she specializes in the buildout and implementation of new customer relationship management (CRM) tools. Nichole also has prior experience coordinating member benefits for such organizations as AARP and The Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce.

Nichole's exceptional and qualified skills show professionalism, and she is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to all Stable Solar customers.

Heath Galloway

Heath has 18 years of experience in the solar industry and is widely recognized as one of the industry’s most experienced and respected residential solar installation experts. He led Field Operations at Sungevity, and currently leads commercial cost reduction for SunPower. He has a M.S. in Industrial Technology and is a CA licensed electrician.

Jimmy Bergeron

Jimmy Bergeron served as Vice President of Operations and Maintenance at Solar City/Tesla, overseeing 370 employees and all service work for 400,000 solar energy installations. After leaving Tesla Jimmy founded JMB Renewables, leveraging his experience both in the construction and O&M space in order to provide turnkey maintenance services to both residential and commercial customers.

Jay Welsh

Jay is the founder and General Manager of Solar Maid. Jay started Solar Maid 15 years ago, in the early days of the solar industry, and has built Solar Maid into the global leader in Janitorial Solar O&M, with 41 locations in 4 countries. In addition to providing industry leading solar panel cleaning services, Solar Maid has pioneered pest abatement products for rooftop solar.
